The one cleaning job we face often when completing move out cleaning for rental properties, one off cleans ready for new owners or deceased estate cleaning is that the toilets can be very dirty to the point sometimes of no return and home owners just want to grab the dynamite!
We have saved property managers, landlords and tenants
thousands of dollars from replacing new toilets in their units.
Today, I will share how we got a very dirty toilet clean and how easy it can be. There are many cleaning hacks that tell you to buy a bottle of coke and pour it all over your toilet, or rub lemons on the bowl 3 times and keep your fingers crossed. It does not need to be that difficult.
Yes some cleaning tips/hacks may work but let’s keep it very simple and cost effective and less time consuming.
Now most or none of you do not want to go and buy expensive commercial cleaners just to clean a toilet. My personal preference and secret weapon – Palmolive Dish Washing Liquid
Other dish washing liquids work well but Palmolive is the best by far. Simply put a little in the bowl on the ceramic where the marks are. Just a little and squirt it around the bowl and leave it for approx 3-5mins.
Simply scrub of and it will come off easily and has far less chemical components that harsh cleaners.
For marks on the seat, finger marks, dirt and grime I use a magic eraser or Jif or a mixture of both – once the entire toilet is clean I will respray it with disinfectant to make it just perfect and smelling just right.
